Position Summary: The Electrical Controls Technician is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems used on electrolyzer test stations.
Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Your workday will be scheduled between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems at direction of engineering management in alignment to company goals for business, test and materials groups.
- Troubleshoot communications bugs, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability during station operation
- Improve Application Programming Interface for the station control system
- Conduct tests and simulations to validate control systems, ensuring all requirements are met and the systems operate as expected.
- Lead and implement upgrades or modifications to existing control systems, ensuring that new requirements are met while minimizing disruption to operations
- Create systems to collect, process, and store data from station devices, ensuring real-time and historical data accessibility.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across all systems.
