Description

Mission:

The Chapel A/V Tech will collaborate with the global Production Team to create a worship experience that 1. Is engaging and life bringing to those attending our Traditions service and 2. Inspires and equips hundreds of attenders to point their lives toward life in Jesus. 3. Learns, lives, and MAWL's the values and DNA of Canyon Ridge. 4. Will live out and contribute to the generational disciple making vision of Canyon Ridge.

 

*This position is part-time, 24 hours a week.

 

Technical Outcomes:

  1. (Immediate and Ongoing) Will execute the A/V production needs for the Traditions Worship Experience. This Includes but is not limited to: Mixing FOH audio (x32), programing simple and engaging light presets (Vista), creating presentation slides for lyrics, graphics, video content and sermon slides (ProPresenter).
  2. (Immediate and Ongoing) Prepare Chapel A/V and content for traditions rehearsals and services every Thursday evening and Sunday morning.
  3. (Immediate and Ongoing) Will manage the regular scheduling, recruitment and training of all tech team volunteers for the Traditions Ministry.
  4. (Immediate and Ongoing) Oversee and direct a separate video stream for the Traditions Facebook live stream.
  5. (First 6 months) Will oversee the Chapel A/V equipment and A/V storage spaces. Ensuring that all gear is in working order and regularly receiving maintenance. Setting and upholding a clean and safe stage and storage environment.
  6. (First 6 months) Provide occasional A/V support when needed, for all other ministries that use the chapel. This includes Celebrate Recovery, middle school, memorials/weddings etc..
  7. (Immediate and Ongoing) Manage stage set up and tear down processes for other ministries and events that use the Chapel.
  8. (Immediate and Ongoing) Attend monthly staff meeting/chapels and weekly meetings with weekend experience team every Wednesday morning to debrief and plan future weekend plans and strategies.

 

Leading Teams:

  1. (Immediate & Ongoing) This person will contribute to development of a “One Team” culture by working closely with current production and worship staff to express and live out shared values with one another and volunteers on both teams. 
  2. (First 6 months) This person will contribute to team building strategies for all areas of production including, audio, Facebook Live Stream, lighting, and ProPresenter.
  3. (First 3 months) Will develop volunteer’s skills and help them grow spiritually, relationally and as a disciple maker by working with the Weekend Experience Team to promote and attend 3 to 4 “TEAM NIGHTS” a year.

 

Disciple Making and Development

  1. (Immediate & ongoing) Will consistently work to help production volunteers find their way into a disciple-making movement by inviting all production team members to attend Discover Canyon Ridge, leading team “circle up’s” and devotion times, joining or leading a group, and encouraging one on one discipleship through studying the word though discovery together.
  2. (First 3 months & Ongoing) Will communicate values, encourage discipleship and build personal relationships with production volunteers as well as create time for personal growth and development in order to lead by example. 
  3. (Immediate and ongoing) Must maintain a posture of learning and show desire to be coached and further developed as a person, a disciple-maker, and an A/V Tech. This will be crucial as you continue to grow as a leader and a contributor to this team.
