KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Communications Associate reports to the Sr. Director of Communications and is highly involved with internal communication as well as Grace Church strategic and creative planning, serving as a key point of contact for Grace Church ministries and their ministry initiatives. The Communications Associate will be responsible for the following:
- Work alongside Grace Church ministries to coordinate communications content, plus support event promotion and marketing needs.
- Assist church ministries with creative requests, which include graphics, print projects, and apparel.
- Maintain brand standards in collaboration with the Director of Communications and Marketing.
- Direct and collaborate with Grace Church volunteer photographers.
- Assist church ministries with writing, proofing, and editing of printed and online ministry communication and newsletters.
- Research, develop, and post stories/information for church online media, including the Grace Church App.
- Perform miscellaneous writing, proofing, and editing projects as assigned by the Director of Communications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while also providing strategic insight as a point of contact for various ministries.
- Other duties as assigned.
