About the Utah Olympic Park
Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility with Nordic ski jumps, sliding tracks, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. About the role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the grounds, buildings, and equipment at the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation. This includes general maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and event support to ensure smooth operations.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems and report back to Manager on any major issues.

Execute general landscape construction and maintenance activities, such as turf care, drainage control, and upkeep of grounds throughout the park.

Responsible for clearing snow during winter months by salting and plowing roads and parking lots, as well as shoveling footpaths, stairs, and parking areas to ensure safe access throughout the facility.
Candidate requirements

Ability to perform strenuous activities, including shoveling, and lifting, outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting.
