JOB SUMMARY
 The Die Cast Supervisor is a hands-on organized leader that oversees the die cast operations of die cast, trim, secondary, and remelt, to ensure that quality castings are produced that adhere to customer requirements by utilizing all resources effectively. This position is also responsible for ensuring all functions are performed safely and maintaining the housekeeping of the plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clear and thorough communication between shifts at shift change, including quality, process, maintenance, set up, and die repair
- Adherence to process and quality requirements
- Clear and thorough documentation of activities within the shift, including problems, descriptions, actions taken, shot counts and scrap
- Keep the department clean and orderly at all times
- Ensure machine repairs are completed and status s communicated
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure set-ups are completed properly
- Ensure personnel are adhering to customer and company requirements, including those provided in the job books, visual aids, lot tickets, and work instructions
- Ensure employees have been cross trained so that all functions within department back-up" employees
- Provide on-the-job training to all operators based upon production data and customer feedback
- Actively participate as a team member with the supervisory staff to achieve company goals through clear and consistent messages, rules, and training established across the shifts
