Reports To: Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor

Hours Required: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Location: Riverside HQ

Compensation: $23-$25/Hour

 

 

The Job

 

Located in Riverside, we are an online retailer of all things bike and adventuring in the outdoors. Our product offering makes for a unique work environment as there isn’t a warehouse like ours in the area. Many of our team members are avid riders, and while it isn’t a requirement for the job, you just might end up on a bike. You can expect an easy-going, welcoming and flexible atmosphere with good people.

 

In this job, you will maintain accurate and organized inventory records to help the warehouse run efficiently. This role oversees inventory activities, including cycle counts, variance, and inventory reconciliations. The Inventory Lead works closely with the Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor to identify and resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure inventory accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Shows our customers the love in every interaction!
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouse/retail locations (WH 1, WH 2, and Corona)
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts
  • Track variance trends and communicate issues to Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor
  • Train inventory warehouse associates on proper inventory handling and documentation
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Report KPIs including percent of picks by zone, inventory adjustment dollars, and replenishment by zones
  • Coordinate with Receiving and Shipping Leads to prevent transactional errors
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for inventory control
  • Other tasks as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1 -2 years warehouse or customer service leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated abilities in verbal and written communications
  • Knowledge and experience in the bike industry is a plus!
