Position Summary:
As an Installation Technician you will be responsible for supporting the installation projects for new and existing clients throughout the US. This position works in collaboration with teams dedicated to installing and upgrading client products and equipment. This will include installing the infrastructure and cabling to support, kiosks, tablets, phones, stations and other client products and equipment. The position will also be responsible for assisting Electricians with basic electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance performing the more routine tasks of the electrical trade, taking direction from – and under the supervision of – the electrician and team leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measuring, cutting, and bending rigid conduit, using a tape measure and hand tools
- Installing and bending rigid conduit using manual benders
- Pulling electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment
- Pulling cable using manual and power equipment, terminating, and troubleshooting cabling.
- Operating power tools such as drills, saws, pullers, tuggers, etc.
- Anchoring and installing client equipment such as kiosks, video visitation units, stations, and tablets.
- Managing, maintaining, and properly caring for inventory of materials, equipment, and tools.
- Testing equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
- Assisting Installation Electricians by performing various assigned tasks.

- Ability to work all tasks to completion with a high sense of urgency and the highest work quality.
- Working knowledge and/or the ability to learn applicable practices, standards, and codes (electrical, cabling, fiber, wireless, networking, conduit, industry, and equipment)
- Delivering services in a timely and effective manner to ensure optima; system performance resulting in highly satisfied customers.
- Demonstrating safe and responsible work habits in correctional facilities to avoid injuries, damage to property, and unnecessary security risks to team and company.
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct in accordance with Company standards while working with corrections staff and offenders.
- Able to properly use basic tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, hand tools, power tools, etc.
- Capable of learning with basic instruction and on the job training
- Tech-Savvy; interest in technology and learning more about computers, networks, and mobile devices.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
