We are currently seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Transportation Support Assistant. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their transportation needs in a respectful, accurate, and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and able to follow established guidelines to determine service eligibility.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday – Friday (in-office)
- 7:30AM – 3:30PM
- Hourly rate: $18.00
Responsibilities:
- Respond courteously and professionally to incoming calls and transportation service requests.
- Determine rider eligibility and appropriate funding subsidy where appropriate.
- Provide direct registration service for first time users.
- Review mileage reimbursement requests to ensure the accurate reimbursement amounts are issued.
- Verify daily Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) eligibility.
- Address customer concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Coordinate trip additions and cancellations with the Operating Manager or Scheduler.
- Maintain files and records in accordance with program guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.
