MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Training:Â
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in PRC, contract health, or related healthcare program management.
- Requires at least one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Certifications in healthcare management, case management, or related fields are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires in-depth knowledge of CHCA and IHS PRC program guidelines, policies, and legislative requirements.
- Requires understanding of healthcare fiscal management, budgeting, and spending plan development.
- Requires proficiency in health information systems such as RPMS and UFMS.
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to develop strategies to maximize the use of alternate healthcare funding resources.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and partner organizations.
- Ability to resolve complex referral and billing issues with sound judgment.
- Ability to adapt to evolving regulations and program requirements.
- Ability to interpret complex program regulations and translate them into operational procedures
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting with extended periods of sitting, intermittent walking, and occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds.
- Travel may be required to attend provider meetings, trainings, or community events.
