Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
As the GIS Web Admin & Analyst, you’ll manage our enterprise GIS web environments (user accounts, permissions, web maps, data hosting, troubleshooting) and perform hands-on GIS analysis, mapping, and data support. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical system management, thrives in analytical, project-driven GIS work, and is comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external partners.
Web Administration (ArcGIS/Esri)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, and contractor access for ArcGIS Enterprise and Online.
- Create, configure, and share web maps and dashboards (Field Maps, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, Instant Apps, Survey 123).
- Serve as the publishing authority for datasets authored by the GIS team within ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage schema updates, feature classes, and data integrity within the enterprise geodatabase. This may include hosting and maintaining data within the Esri Data Store.
- Troubleshoot GIS system issues and coordinate with Esri support.
- Participate in upgrades, patches, and versioning for GIS platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and system performance.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and vendors who use GIS maps and tools, providing support and guidance as needed.
GIS Analysis & Data Support
- Utilize ArcPro to assist in GIS and data science projects
- Perform spatial analysis, mapping, and data updates for engineering, planning, and operations.
- Execute data validation and QA/QC on internal and vendor datasets.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis, maps, and reporting as assigned by the GIS Coordinator.
