Fully remote position (after completing the training program)

Note: The training program is mandatory, in-person training in Dallas TX. Training will last 8 weeks, and mileage is reimbursed for staff that live more than 20 miles from the training site.

Job Description:
Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking a dedicated and motivated Contact Center Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring smooth scheduling, and supporting the needs of our clinical staff and physicians. Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule a high volume of patient appointments efficiently, in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, co-workers, and physicians, ensuring every interaction is respectful and positive.
  • Accurately schedule new and established patient appointments using the office's electronic system, adhering to physician guidelines and templates.
  • Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed based on physician schedule changes, notifying the appropriate clinic personnel and documenting changes in the E.H.R. system.
  • Verify and update patient demographic information, including insurance details, in the E.H.R. system.
  • Review patient medical charts to ensure appointments are scheduled according to the physician's guidelines.
  • Follow up with patients who missed appointments in the previous week to reschedule and update charts accordingly.
  • Adapt to frequent changes in daily schedules and manage them efficiently.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by the Administrator or management team.
  • Perform any other related tasks or duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of patients and staff.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role.
