General Summary:
The Customer Relations Specialist performs a variety of duties to ensure total customer satisfaction. These include, but are not limited to, order and job entry, order acknowledgements, follow-up of open orders, processing rush requests, pricing, quoting, and extensive customer contact. The Customer Relations Specialist also works closely with internal CFS team members (including Scheduling, Production and Freight teams) to answer questions that come up on customer orders.
What is the Job?
- Daily communication with assigned customers including: status updates on orders, expediting of orders, and questions on orders, etc.
- Communicates with internal Crystal Finishing’s teams (ie: scheduling, engineering, production) to ensure customer specifications are understood on orders.
- Reviews reports and communicates with scheduling and production to help ensure on-time, correct, and complete shipment/delivery of customer orders.
- Ensures orders are entered within the established time requirements to allow scheduling and production teams sufficient visibility to meet the standard lead-times.
