Quality Engineer Senatobia

Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for our Senatobia, MS location. This role will lead product launch activities, drive quality system improvements, and serve as a key liaison with customers. This role requires strong technical expertise in APQP, PPAP, and manufacturing problem-solving, with a focus on automotive and industrial quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead APQP and PPAP processes for new and modified programs
• Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, FMEAs, Control Plans, and inspection instructions
• Validate purchased materials and components through PPAP
• Implement early containment strategies and report results
• Analyze plant quality performance to reduce PPMs and returns
• Manage internal/external corrective actions and issue Quality Alerts
• Interface directly with customers and suppliers on quality issues
• Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Conduct training related to QMS as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in APQP, PPAP, and quality planning (automotive preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with aluminum extrusion, SMC, injection molding, or Class A finishing is a plus
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) is beneficial

Work Environment:

• Office and manufacturing floor presence required
• May involve weekend work or schedule adjustments to support production shifts
