What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a highly competent dental assistant with the following skills and experience:

  • Chairside assisting experience in:
    • General dentistry procedures, Cosmetic dentistry a plus!
    • Sedation appointments
    • CEREC crowns, veneers, and appliance fabrication
  • Proficiency with:
    • Digital scanning and Invisalign workflows
    • Fabricating temporaries and seating crowns
    • Carestack or Dentrix experience a plus!
    • Taking X-rays, intraoral and 2D extraoral photos, as well as CBCT scans
  • Charting existing and proposed restorations, documenting periodontal charting, and recording and interpreting vital signs
  • Knowledge of sterilization protocols, tray setup, and infection control
  • A patient-first mentality with strong communication and organizational skills
  • A valuable team centered assistant who is ready to take on new challenges, learn new procedures and maintain a professional and positive attitude.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting three dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
  • Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring a comfortable VIP experience
  • Maintaining sterile operatories that are in line with OSHA guidelines
  • Staying in compliance with HIPPA regulations
  • Documenting clinical findings and treatment in patient charts
  • Educating patients on procedures and post-operative care
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the practice
