We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented accountant that is looking for a clear career path with a fast-growing company.  The candidate will play a key role in our accounting functions by assisting with the month-end close cycle, payroll and compensation calculations, accounts payable, treasury management and a variety of reporting and financial analyses. There will be ample opportunities to work on projects outside of the standard accounting reporting cycle, such as expanded reporting and analysis, systems & process improvements, acquisition integration, tax & audit support, and other projects as they arise.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all accounting functions, including month-end closing process
• Process bi-weekly payroll and calculate provider compensation
• Conduct monthly bank entries and assist in reconciliation
• Review and assist in improving internal accounting controls
• Support third party tax and audit firms
• Perform monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank account review, coding and cash balancing
• Corporate Credit Card oversight
• Accounts payable assistance and oversight
• Assist with developing and onboarding of team members as the department grows

Education/License Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• CPA a plus

Experience Requirements:

• 0-3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and Accrual Accounting
• Multi-site healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Payroll experience preferred but not required
