Service Tire Truck Centers, a thriving mechanical business and leading provider of truck tires and mechanical services to the transportation industry with 53 locations in 8 states is offering a full time Monday - Friday day shift opportunity for an experienced Trailer Mechanic. This is a 1st shift opportunity. Shops are well equipped and clean in a positive fast paced environment Excellent pay and benefits are also offered at Service Tire. Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance of semi-trailers
- Preventative maintenance to ensure customer’s fleet of trailers are always in great condition
- Service, inspect, diagnose and perform all repairs and maintenance on trailer equipment
- Routine maintenance and other service repair orders, in accordance with DOT requirements
- Conduct annual DOT inspections to include minor to moderate repairs
- Welding and Fabrication required for this position
- Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers
Pre-placement drug screen and DOT physical required. No criminal background check required.
