PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools.Â
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have 0 to 2 years of experience with CNC machining.Â
• Operate CNC production machines, primarily mills and lathes.Â
• Follow documented processes using best and safe practices.Â
• Must know how to read blueprints.Â
• Must have knowledge of machining principles.
• Familiar with quality paperwork.Â
• Understand ISO and QS processes. Know how to determine Quality requirements and document quality.Â
• Maintain a high degree of quality.
• Willingness to cross train and share knowledge and skills with others.Â
• Maintain required and accurate paperwork.Â
• Housekeeping/maintenance of work area and machinery.Â
• Identify and initiate product and process improvements.Â
• Safety- and goal-oriented.Â
• Perform in a team environment.Â
• Basic math skills.Â
