What will an E-Commerce Associate do?

Position purpose
    The E-Commerce Associate will work in a fast-paced production type of environment and will be responsible for listing quality high-end products, taking quality photos of products (if required) to be used in listings and posting them on Shopgoodwill.com and other E-Commerce websites. Duties will include accurately describing each item, posting pictures, and adhering to daily goals and quotas. Daily interaction with customers and co-workers will require the E-Commerce Associate to provide excellent customer service displaying an Attitude of Gratitude in order to support the mission of the organization.

Job Duties
- Must meet minimum expectations/standards in sorting, processing, and listing to include maintaining target avg. selling price per item.
- Utilize and/or take Photos of quality, high-end donated items ensuring quality written descriptions that include sets/groupings, object design, identify markings, blemishes/wear n tear, and other product detail.
- List products onto our E-Commerce auction system, identifying and authenticating items as necessary to ensure accurate descriptions and professional listings by checking spelling and using good grammar.
- Follow Companies procedures and policies for handling the donations by shelving inventory to ensure that items are easily located.
- Provide excellent Customer Service with an Attitude of Gratitude while answering customers questions and concerns over electronic means.
- Ensure that customer questions and concerns are answered in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide a clean and organized work area to promote a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Cross-train in other E-Commerce areas and act as a back-up for other areas as required.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Maintains accurate production logs.
- Follows safety procedures, uses PPE as needed and uses proper body mechanics when performing each task.
- Ensures own online buying and selling does not create a conflict of interest for the organization.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is an essential function
- Must maintain compliance with all health, safety and fire standards, and all local, state, and federal regulations (TOSHA and OSHA).

- Key Knowledge and Experience
- Must have excellent skills in reading, writing, and math, listening and speaking.
- Ability to use tape measures, scales, and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
- Ability to identify rare, collectible, and/or unique items.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and other employees.
- Must have excellent computer skills to include typing/keyboarding of at least 25 wpm and knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet.
- The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds and more with assistive devices or people. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
