Description

Job Purpose:
- The Director of Programs at Clayton Child Care Inc. is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of all programs within the organization. This role ensures that programs align with the organization's mission, meet the needs of the community, and adhere to the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of all programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and resource optimization.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of program staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, stakeholders, and funders to enhance program reach and impact.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices within the child care sector.
- Represent Clayton Child Care Inc. at community events, conferences, and meetings, advocating for the organization's mission and programs.
- Prepare and present reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting program achievements and challenges.
- Lead efforts in innovation and development of new programs that address emerging needs in the community.
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction and success of the organization.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Social Work, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management or administration within a child care or educational setting.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs for children.
- Experience in supervising and leading a team of professionals.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
