SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, teach, and oversee a diverse range of academic and recreational activities tailored for youth within the community and at Clayton
partner campuses. Enrichment Leaders skillfully manage groups of 15-20 children, delivering age-appropriate and subject-specific curriculum
catering to Pre-K through 8th-grade students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops engaging and tailored lesson plans and activities catered to specific age groups.
- Ensures stock of essential supplies and equipment required for each club/class.
- Ensures daily setup and maintenance of program areas; ensuring it is organized and cleaned after each use.
- Supervises all activities at the time of the program; working with the program liaisons and Enrichment Manager on class scheduling.
- Plans, organizes and leads community and agency special events for all ages and abilities.
- Contributes to the development and sustenance of an updated inventory system of enrichment kits and equipment.
- Achieves all set objectives and outcomes for the assigned classes.
- Maintains classroom order and implements positive guidance techniques to support and nurture students.
- Maintains positive relationships with host schools, community members, and partners.
- Acts as a representative to showcase and promote the agency’s enrichment offerings during external marketing endeavors.
- All other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:
- Requires daily standing, sitting, bending and stooping
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
- Requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to physically move about the program space and fieldtrip venues
- Requires the ability to read text and information and comprehend instructions and manuals
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to work flexible schedules when necessary, and travel to locations on a daily and weekly basis.
- Complete 30+ hours of paid training/professional development, occasionally out of the area
- Available to work Saturdays and/or evenings
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk
- Risk of exposure to childhood diseases
- Attendance at fieldtrips and waterparks with various environmental conditions, heat and weather
