SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Director of Programs is responsible for the operational success of any and all programs within their area or region.
The position provides seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation.
PROGRAMMATIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure quality delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and vision of the Agency.
- Ensure implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all activities is in accordance with Standards and State licensing and Grant requirements as applicable.
- Develop and implement departmental long-term goals and objectives to achieve successful program outcomes.
- Evaluate all programs through formal onsite evaluations and informal observations.
- Analyze trends in the field, identifying issues and developing/recommending solutions to the Director of Programs.
- Work with department managers to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
- Monitor expenditures and build budgets that support the agency and department goals.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit and supervise qualified regional and/or area managers.
- Lead and coach department leader’s performance.
- Assign and direct work with department leaders to their teams.
- Establish goals and objectives for their region and/or areas and provide written progress reports for review by the Chief Executive Officer.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in developing and administering effective policies and procedures.
- Manage health, risk and safety related incidents.
- Ensure that all regional and area managers are executing licensing administrative duties, billing, compliance and reporting where applicable
- Ensure that all grant reporting and stakeholder deliverables are completed by managers on time and accurate.
- Review and approve any billings that are generated through accounting for program services.
- Monitor and approve all budgeted program expenditures; ensure that the programs operate within the approved budget.
- Manage parent and stakeholder complaints and compliments.
- Work as a team with other AD’s for programs to accomplish shared goals and agency vision.
COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate existing relationships with host schools and programs with the goal of ensuring sufficient space, resources and access to services.
- Build plans to meet regularly with principals and district liaisons with their program managers.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to solicit input to improve the program.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:
- Requires daily standing, sitting, bending and stooping (sitting will be limited to about 5% of your day)
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
- Requires the ability to lift 40 pounds
- Requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel and visit programs regularly.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to work odd schedules, evenings and weekends when necessary (flexibility is important).
- Travel in and around the North Texas required.

- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
