Scott Family Amazeum Overview
The Scott Family Amazeum is a hands-on, interactive museum in Northwest Arkansas and recognized as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. We create a fun environment where risk taking, imagining, problem solving, discovery, collaboration, and exploration bring children and adults together to learn and grow.
Core Purpose:Â The Amazeum exists to spark and nurture the curious and creative spirit in all of us.
 Through experiences with the Amazeum, individuals and the community are engaged in building relationships and developing identities as creative, curious, and innovative shapers for the region. Learning at the Amazeum is an active, playful exploration that inspires curiosity. It is rooted in inquiry-based discovery and involves an element of risk. Hands-on learning opportunities allow guests to exercise critical thinking in the context of play.
 The Amazeum facility includes approximately 50,000 square feet of indoor space and one acre of outdoor exhibition and activity space. The museum is located at the intersection of Museum Way and J Street in Bentonville, AR.

Position Summary
The Sr. Development Manager - Corporate Giving, will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission by securing and managing funding from corporations and businesses. This individual reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and will oversee the entire sponsorship engagements—from cultivating, soliciting, and stewardship of corporate funders to expand philanthropic support. As a key member of the development team, the Sr. Development Manager - Corporate Giving will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with funders’ priorities and organizational goals.
Essential Functions
Proposals and Solicitation
- Develop compelling, tailored corporate proposals, engagement, and retention strategies for corporate and business funders.
- Manage the submission process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals and solicitations.
- Translate complex programmatic information into clear, persuasive narratives that align with funders’ priorities.
Project Management
- Oversee the sponsorship pipeline, tracking deadlines, progress, and outcomes.
- Ability to drive projects to completion, ie sponsorships deliverables.Â
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate teams to understand organizational priorities and needs.
Research and Strategy
- Conduct and track prospect research to identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
- Develop and implement strategies for cultivating relationships with community leaders and corporate donors’ charitable giving priorities and . This includes maintaining strong working relationships with the Corporate teams and stakeholders to secure funding and ongoing support.
- Stay informed of trends in philanthropy funding to inform the organization’s approach.
Reporting and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and documentation in the Tessitura or CRM database.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile funding expenditures and ensure proper use of funds.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster alignment, ensure seamless communication, and drive successful sponsorship outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact/steward for sponsor-related communications to include maintaining open communication with funders throughout the giving cycle.
- Represent the organization at funder meetings, site visits, and networking events as needed.
