Overview:

The Chief of Staff, reporting to the President of Prodege plays a pivotal role in translating the company’s operational vision into measurable results by ensuring cross-functional alignment, driving execution of high-priority initiatives, and enabling the President to operate at maximum effectiveness. Acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, this role streamlines decision-making, enhances organizational efficiency, and fosters a culture of accountability and operational excellence. By serving as the connective tissue between the President, leadership team, and broader organization, the Chief of Staff ensures that strategic objectives are prioritized, resourced, and delivered, ultimately accelerating the company’s ability to scale and achieve long-term business goals.

Primary Objectives: 

  • Operational Strategy & Execution: Translate the President’s strategic vision into actionable plans, setting and tracking OKRs, KPIs, and operational priorities to ensure measurable results.
  • Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Drive execution of high-impact, cross-departmental initiatives that advance the President’s agenda and company goals.
  • Executive Communication & Decision Support: Prepare and deliver concise, insight-driven materials that inform board updates, investor communications, and executive decision-making.
  • Leadership Alignment & Accountability: Coordinate leadership team meetings, operational reviews, and follow-ups to maintain progress and alignment across teams.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize the Presidents’s time, resources, and workflows to ensure focus on high-priority outcomes.
  • Culture & Influence: Serve as a trusted advisor and culture carrier, reinforcing operational excellence, collaboration, and accountability throughout the organization.

Detailed Job Duties: 

  • Partner with the President to set, communicate, and track operational priorities, OKRs, and transformation initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that advance the Presidents’s agenda but do not fall within a single department.
  • Develop, maintain, and present executive dashboards, KPI reports, and performance reviews to measure progress.
  • Ensure follow-through and accountability for President-driven action items across operational and support functions.
  • Act as a central hub for information flow to and from the President, ensuring preparedness for all meetings and decisions.
  • Prepare board materials, investor updates, and company-wide operational briefings.
  • Synthesize operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for executive decision-making.
  • Represent the President in select internal and external meetings, negotiations, and forums as needed.
  • Coordinate leadership team meetings, operational reviews, and offsite planning, ensuring clear agendas and follow-ups.
  • Manage and optimize the President's calendar and meeting cadence to focus on high-impact priorities.
  • Serve as a culture carrier—reinforcing operational excellence, collaboration, and accountability across the organization.
  • Executive sponsored meeting and event planning including but not limited to: All Hands Meetings, HQ Holiday Party, Quarterly Management Meetings, Strategy Meetings, Executive Off-sites, Board Meetings, Anniversary Calls.
  • Provide candid counsel and feedback to the President as a trusted and discreet sounding board.

Success in this role means the President’s strategic priorities are clearly defined, effectively communicated, and consistently delivered across the organization. The Chief of Staff will be recognized as a trusted extension of the President—anticipating needs, removing obstacles, and ensuring that decisions are executed with speed and precision. Key initiatives will move forward on schedule, operational KPIs will be tracked and achieved, and leadership alignment will be strengthened through well-run meetings, streamlined communication, and effective follow-up. The President’s time will be maximized for the highest-impact activities, and the broader organization will experience improved clarity, accountability, and operational momentum.

 

Qualifications

The MUST Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Seven or more (7+) years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable outcomes in complex organizations.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with C-level executives and senior leadership.
  • Outstanding executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

The Nice to Haves: 

  • Experience in a high-growth, scaling company or transformation environment.
  • Prior Chief of Staff experience or similar strategic operations leadership role.
  • Familiarity with operational frameworks such as OKRs, EOS, or Balanced Scorecard.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience preparing materials for boards, investors, and other external stakeholders.

 

 

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Prodege offers a comprehensive benefits package to US Full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and basic life insurance. Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees receive an option to purchase shares of Company stock commensurate with their position, which vests over four years.
