Brophy College Preparatory seeks to hire a personable and experienced professional to join Brophy’s security staff. The members of Brophy’s security staff maintain a visible and active presence on campus before, during, and after school as well as during major student activities, games, and school events.

Job Title: Security Officer
Position Reports To: Dean of Student Formation
Classification: Non-Exempt
Job Status: Full Time, 11 Month Schedule (August - June), Benefits Eligible
Hours: Mon-Fri: 7:00 am-3:00 pm; Variety of nights and weekends.
Pay Range: $23 -$25/hour, depending on experience, overtime is paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Start Date: July 28, 2025
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain a visible, active presence on campus and at scheduled events
- Provide supervision of students when on duty, redirecting student behavior according to Brophy’s student handbook policies as necessary, and reporting discipline infractions to the Dean of Student Formation for appropriate follow up
- Engage and greet visitors to campus, providing hospitality and directional assistance to visitors and appropriately engaging and intercepting trespassers
- Direct traffic in parking lots before/after school and during major school events.
- Serve as an important member of the school's crisis response team
- Coordinate with delivery personnel arriving on campus to ensure that deliveries are received in the correct location
- Collaborate with security staff at neighboring schools as well as local law enforcement on security related matters
