Required/Desired Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
- Knowledge of and experience coaching field hockey, including competitions, practices, and strength/conditioning.
- Knowledge and ability to ensure academic success of student-athletes.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaches, athletic administrators, students, parent body, and the community.

- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with prior successful coaching experience, preferably at the high school and/or college level.

Physical Requirements
- the ability to move around outside athletic fields.Â
- regularly required to stand, walk, run, reach with hands or arms, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Â
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Supervision
The Middle School Head/Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach is a part-time seasonal position and reports to the Varsity Coach, and the Director of Athletics and Wellness.Â
