Description

Job Duties

  • Create, update, and audit work instructions; ensure controlled copies are available at the point of use.
  • Partner with the Quality team to write and maintain procedures and the control plan.
  • Publish daily internal/external defect Pareto charts; verify data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Issue Quality Alerts and update instructions/control plan in response to customer nonconformances.
  • Lead the Layered Process Audit (LPA) program: schedule, perform audits, track findings, drive closure, and keep LPA forms current.
  • Facilitate PFMEA reviews; coordinate actions and communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Own the Non-Conforming Ticket (NCT) and returns process end-to-end.
  • Support Process Sign-Off (PSO) activities and updates.
  • Deliver strong service to both internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); comfortable with data entry/analysis.
  • Organized, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

(Preferred)

  • Experience in automotive/manufacturing quality (PFMEA, LPA, control plans, PSO).
  • Exposure to basic quality tools (Pareto, 5 Why, 8D).
  • ASQ certifications (CQI/CQT) or equivalent.
