Apprentice Electroplating Technician
Penn United Technologies, Inc. is actively hiring full-time Apprentice Electroplating Technicians to support our expanding Plating facility. This role requires the flexibility to rotate weekly among daylight, afternoon, and midnight shifts. A 10% shift premium is offered for non-daylight shifts.

Responsibilities: Â
- Work on the plating shop floor in order to learn required job tasks
- Regularly attend apprenticeship classes held on site
- Manage the activities of the plating parts, including setup and maintenance of the lines, plating and inspection of the parts, and the preparation of parts for shipping.
- Strive to keep setup and maintenance time to a minimum
- Maintain job tracking system
- Ensure that chemical inventories are adequately maintained at all times and that orders are properly filed
- Follow all safety and quality plans
- Study the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectively
- Rotate, on a weekly basis, from daylight, afternoon and midnight shiftsÂ
