Powder Technician
At Penn United Technologies, Inc. we are hiring for a full-time Powder Technician to join our Carbide facility.  We are looking for individuals who desire to work in a team atmosphere where they will have the opportunity to continue to grow in a career within our employee-owned company.   Powder Technicians play a key beginning role in the manufacturing process of carbide components by preparing and mixing the raw material according to specifications.   Candidates for this position must be able to work rotating shifts of daylight, afternoon and midnight.

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize, plan and prepare work
- Sort jobs by due dates and complexity of tasks
- Prepare equipment and supplies
- Prepare, maintain and operate machinery to mix and dry ingredients used to fabricate carbide parts
- Add ingredients and sift mixture as required according to specifications
- Properly clean equipment between batches.
