Lindora is currently hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to evaluate new and returning weight loss patients in our Southern California clinics. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to work independently, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers. Experience in nutrition, weight loss, or hormone replacement therapy is a plus.

Travel requirements: This position will require you to travel to a different clinic each day. The clinics will be Newport Beach, Laguna Hills, RSM, San Juan C Capistrano, and San Clamente.

Hours: (40) M- F plus 1-2 Saturday's a month from 8 AM- 12 noon.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Perform physical examinations

· Evaluate new and returning weight loss patients

· Interpret lab results

· Counsel patients on diet and exercise

· Discuss nutritional supplements

· Troubleshoot problems in patients with poor weight loss

· Prescribe weight loss medication, including stimulants

· Other responsibilities specific to clinic operations

· Assist clinic staff with daily patient weight loss visits

· Give injections and draw blood as needed

· Perform chart reviews

· Willing to be trained in and prescribe hormone replacement therapy.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in computers and EMR
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Listen and communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Must have high attention to detail, able to work independently.
• Exceptional follow-through, attention to detail
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities.

Education and Experience:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner certification is required. 
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinic setting is required. 
• DEA registration number
• Must have 1 or more years of experience in hormone replacement.
• Must be proficient in using EMR computer systems.
• Sales experience is a plus! the industries that Lindora prefers are health & wellness, retail, fitness, or med spa.

MUST HAVE:

1. HRT experience.   making diagnosis, ordering appropriate labs, creating a plan. 
   1. Use of bioidentical hormones from compound pharmacy.
   2. Review hormone labs biomarkers  
   3. Medication management and follow up
   4. Have updated DEA to order license.
2. Able to review/ explain general biomarkers for:
   1. Nutrition Generals biomarkers are comprehensive metabolic panel, total blood count, hemoglobina1c, thyroid function, lipid panel, inflammatory (crp), iron panel, GGTP, alkaline phosphatase.  
   2. HRT: estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, DHEA, Sex Binding globulin protein.  
3. Some weight management experience.
   1. Knowing the science of obesity medicine practice.
   2. How to do diagnoses and criteria for Obesity Care. 
   3. use of all medication's available FDA/ compound use for GLP1.
   4. Have seen at least 100 clients with obesity diagnoses in the past.
   5. Understand the adverse reactions of rapid weight loss. 
   6. Use and sales of supplements, minerals, vitamins. 
   7. Obesity medicine certification not required.
4. IV Vitamin Therapy-- some knowledge
   1. Know the science and indicated use of IV vitamins, minerals, amino acids and mixture.  
   2. Assessment and Plan and undergo good faith examinations
   3. Understand the adverse reactions and contradictions.
   4. Able to place IV lines under precautionary protocol. 
5. Body Contouring-- some knowledge
   1. Undergo good Faith Exams for medical clearance.
   2. Willing to learn how technology works for body contouring.
   3. Willing to cross sell services.
6. Up to date CA medical license / clean DEA.
7. Component of this position is cross selling where services are tied to products. 
8. Learn our EHR in Zenoti and be able to e-prescribe.  
9. Able to drive as you are expected to go to different locations.
