Lindora is currently hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to evaluate new and returning weight loss patients in our Southern California clinics. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to work independently, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers. Experience in nutrition, weight loss, or hormone replacement therapy is a plus.
Travel requirements: This position will require you to travel to a different clinic each day. The clinics will be Newport Beach, Laguna Hills, RSM, San Juan C Capistrano, and San Clamente.
Hours: (40) M- F plus 1-2 Saturday's a month from 8 AM- 12 noon.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Perform physical examinations
· Evaluate new and returning weight loss patients
· Interpret lab results
· Counsel patients on diet and exercise
· Discuss nutritional supplements
· Troubleshoot problems in patients with poor weight loss
· Prescribe weight loss medication, including stimulants
· Other responsibilities specific to clinic operations
· Assist clinic staff with daily patient weight loss visits
· Give injections and draw blood as needed
· Perform chart reviews
· Willing to be trained in and prescribe hormone replacement therapy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in computers and EMR
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Listen and communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Must have high attention to detail, able to work independently.
- Exceptional follow-through, attention to detail
- Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities.
Education and Experience:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinic setting is required.
- DEA registration number
- Must have 1 or more years of experience in hormone replacement.
- Must be proficient in using EMR computer systems.
- Sales experience is a plus! the industries that Lindora prefers are health & wellness, retail, fitness, or med spa.
