SUMMARY: The Facilities Supervisor oversees the day-to-day building, grounds, and custodial maintenance services for the organization
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the general maintenance of all facilities, including the Community Hospice & Health Services (CHHS) administration building, the Alexander Cohen Hospice House (ACHH), Logistics, and Hope Chest Thrift Store Locations.
- Maintenance of facilities includes, but is not limited to, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, and landscaping.
- Oversees contracted facility services provided to the company. Services may include, but are not limited to, landscaping, septic system, HVAC, boilers, roofing, pest control, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Responsible for HVAC maintenance needs
- Solicits bids for major maintenance needs and repairs.
- Supervises maintenance and custodial employees work endeavors.
- Responsible for time, attendance, time-off requests, performance and behavior management for assigned employees.
- Completes performance reviews for assigned employees.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, routine company vehicle service, and company machinery.
- Maintain a system to properly log all keys for owned and leased facilities.
- Manages the electronic "FIXIT" requests for service and respond to requests associated with building, grounds, custodial, and other maintenance needs.
- Properly secure all parts, inventory, and property equipment.
- Process regular inspections of grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical lighting, signage, HVAC systems, and major equipment.
- Maintain all storage and maintenance work spaces according to company standards.
- Maintain and safeguard all company tools and equipment.
