Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Social Service or Human Resources related field
- 1-2 years in social services evaluating clients' background, skills, and interests and matches to potential job openings or training programs.
- 1-2 years of experience working with refugee or immigrant populations in a community or social services setting;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; and,Â
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable, insured transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' coaching and preparing candidates for interview and entry into the workforce.Â
- 2+ years' of establishing and maintaining relationships with employers, industry organizations, and public and private agencies to source job openings and secure employment and vocational training opportunities for clients.
- Communicate verbally and in writing in one or more refugee languages, including Arabic, Dari, Kinyarwanda, Kiswahili, Pashto, and Spanish and;
- Familiarity with the San Antonio area job market.
