Champlain Insurance Group is a fast-growing, specialty, surplus and excess lines insurance enterprise. Which, through our affiliates, Champlain Specialty Insurance Company, WestCongress Insurance Services LLC, and WestCongress Risk Services LLC, offers primary and excess general liability insurance solutions and claims administration throughout the United States. 

 

 

We are in search of a Marketing Assistant to join our team!  This position will play a key role in supporting the marketing managers' day-to-day operations, executing campaigns, and maintaining brand consistency across all channels. This position requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms. 

  • Coordinate with vendors, designers, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. 

  • Assist in updating the company’s website and social media channels with fresh content. 

  • Support in preparing reports on campaign performance, engagement, and ROI. 

  • Support event planning, including trade shows, webinars, community outreach initiatives, and shipping items out. 

  • Support in maintaining/updating marketing databases, email lists, and contact records in CRM platforms. 

  • Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role preferred. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Social Media Platforms, Salesforce/HubSpot, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 

  • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks. 

  • Be able to work outside area of responsibility to support the growth of the business. 

Job Type: 

  • In Office 

  • Part-Time (24 hours a week) 

  • Office setting 

 

Weekly day range: 

  • Tuesday to Thursday 

  • No weekends
