Job Description

Job Purpose

The Staff Pharmacist in our Community Pharmacy is responsible for aiding patients and customers by compounding and/or dispensing prescription medications, providing pharmaceutical information to healthcare professionals, monitoring patients’ drug therapies to avoid interactions with other medications, and providing pharmaceutical expertise to customers on the safe use of medications. The Staff pharmacist also ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

Education:

Pharm. D. Degree

Experience:

Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required

License/Certification/Credential:

Current Oklahoma Pharmacist License in Good Standing

 

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, and the Community Pharmacy is open Monday - Friday, 7a - 7p, and Saturday, 8a - 12 noon.  Pharmacists in the Community Pharmacy typically rotate and work 1-2 Saturdays per month, but may change as business needs arise. We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist who will work a rotating schedule of either 7:00a - 3:30p, or 10:30a - 7:00p, Monday - Friday.
