IT Programmer

Department: Information Technology

Reports to: Jerry Boone, Managing Partner

Position Summary
The IT Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software programs and internal applications used throughout the organization. This role will create system reports, support technology needs across departments, and troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong programming skills and a commitment to learning and implementing new technologies that support business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain internal software applications and programs
  • Create custom reports and data tools to support business needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues
  • Implement new technology solutions and stay current with industry advancements
  • Support IT team and end-users and participate in team-based projects 

 

Technical Tools & Platforms

  • Windows Server 2022 & SQL Server 2019
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Blazor
  • Database integrations and web-based systems
  • Implement new technology solutions and stay current with industry advancements
  • Basic network configuration support  

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer. 
  • This position typically operates in a professional office environment.
  • May require occasional travel for meetings, additional training, and business obligations.
  • Regular business hours, with occasional overtime during peak periods or special projects.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required; technical training or college degree preferred.
  • Prior programming experience required.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and database concepts preferred.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and router configuration preferred.

  • Ability to program in multiple languages and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Additional Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work occasional on-call hours as required.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • No felony conviction in the last 10 years.
  • No DUI within the past 5 years.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to be a team player and assist or perform other duties as needed or requested. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
