ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience: Licensed Clinical in Social Work (LCSW) required. Five (5) years of experience plus two (2) years of supervisory experience in social work, case management, counseling, or direct advocacy for clients in social service settings. Experience with immigrants and immigration issues prioritized.
- Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English required, multi-lingual and Spanish proficiency prioritized.
- Computer skills: Professional competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet. Experience with CARES, HOME, CAPS, and AWARDS prioritized.
- Math Skills: Ability to formulate simple financial budgets.
- Physical Performance: Ability to make unit visits (walk distances, climb stairs, etc.)
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to prioritize, make appropriate decisions and judgment calls
- Other Skills:
- Extensive experience conducting and reviewing biopsychosocial and needs assessment surveys, service and care plan design and execution, and trauma and recovery counseling.
- Experience working with homeless individuals and people living with health and/or mental health issues and substance use. Ability to engage residents.
- Experience developing and facilitating workshops and group activities.
- Experience in building and sustaining partnerships and collaborations with external service providers and community-based organizations.
