Director of Middle School Ministry

Department:  Middle School Ministry

Reports to:  Pastor of Student Ministries

Direct Reports:  

1. Middle School Leadership Coordinator
2. Middle School Engagement Coordinator
3. Middle School Operations Coordinator

Position Type:  Full-time Exempt, Ministerial Exception

Purpose: Leads their team to pursue the vision and mission of Perimeter Church through effective ministry to middle school students and families.

Responsibilities:

• Walking with Jesus in their public and private life
• Provide oversight and support to all Middle School Ministry staff and programs
• Track ministry goals and organizational alignment
• Manage the department’s budget
• Lead our Sunday morning environment, Life
• Provide parent equipping opportunities, supporting them as their child’s primary discipler
• Coach a Rush team, assigned by HS Director
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Highly engaged member in good standing at Perimeter Church
• Bachelor’s Degree (in a related field preferred)
• 5 years experience leading ministry teams
