Purpose: The Tech Ops Engineer is responsible in assisting the design, implementation, and maintenance of Perimeter’s technology infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on production systems. This role requires maintaining industry knowledge and training as systems evolve, ensuring Perimeter’s technology environment supports the church’s mission and vision with excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Execute projects to maintain reliability and modernization of venue technology infrastructure and production equipment.
- Assist in design and implement new systems across the campus as needs arise.
- Ensure all rigging and equipment installations meet safety and industry standards.
- Basic woodworking, soldering, and low/high-voltage wiring.
- Understanding of 2D and 3D renderings to assist in-house infrastructure planning and contractor proposals.
- Maintain organized systems for both permanent and temporary equipment storage.
- Collaborate with the Production Team to assist with offsite retreats, conferences, and special events.
- Actively participate in required team events, Staff Prayer, and Staff Development.
- Run aspects of production events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
