Project Accountant

Department:  Accounting

Reports to:  Staff Accountant

Position Type:  Part-time exempt

Purpose: The purpose of this role is to support the work of the Perimeter Church Accounting Department, specifically with fixed assets and capital projects, and to collaborate with the Human Resources Department regarding Paycom (HR/payroll system) responsibilities. As part of the Operations team, we help the ministry of Perimeter Church execute their mission.

Responsibilities:

• Manage current Fixed Asset System Asset Edge for the assets belonging to the Church, School and Church Plants.
• Place all completed assets into service with correct useful life
• Record depreciation monthly
• Keep construction in progress and renovations list up to date in collaboration with the Director of Facilities and the Director of Tech Ops.
• Collaborate with Perimeter School to prioritize capital projects and manage the fixed asset budgets for the school
• Backup for Accounts Payable Specialist
• Manage Paycom onboarding for all school and church auxiliary staff
• Process employee changes in Paycom, including title, supervisor, and job code changes
• Review all 1099 and contract employees
• Review monthly benefit invoices for new and/or terminated employees
• Other duties as assigned
• Attend staff prayer and other development opportunities
• Minister to other staff and members as you serve in various capacities

Requirements: 

• Accounting degree and experience
• Project management experience
• Active member of Perimeter Church in good standing
