Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy is currently looking for a Float Licensed Physical Therapist to provide vacation, sick and maternity/paternity leave coverages for our 10 offices over Northern Colorado/Denver Metro area. As a Physical Therapist you will Evaluate and Treat patients with temporary and/or long-term physical disabilities. You will create personalized patient care plans that encompass pain relief, restore function, and promote healing. You will be responsible for maintaining and adhering to all local and federal compliance requirements. Provide direct supervision and communication with physical therapy assistants, and Clinical Directors. A full job description can be provided upon request.

 

Job Type: Part-Time or PRN

Pay:  $40.00 - $50.00/hr based on experience

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team oriented.
  • Experience with pediatric patients
  • At least two years of clinical experience, preferred
  • New grads are welcome
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education.
  • Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Colorado.
  • A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position.
  • A person who can meet the physical and mental demand level of the position.

PHYSICAL DEMAND CAPACITY:

Consistent with published industry PDC norms or minimally:

  • Requires the manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
  • Lifting—routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from
  • Floor to waist
  • Waist to shoulder
  • Shoulder to overhead
  • Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
  • Pushing---routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
  • Sustaining a grip---routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
  • Guarding a “lift load” routinely of 120-140#
