The Nashville Symphony is a nonprofit organization. We are seeking a creative and media-savvy Content Creation Intern to help capture the energy, excitement, and impact of our performances, musicians, and community programs. This intern will play a vital role in bringing the concert experience to life through photography, video, and social media storytelling—creating content that inspires engagement and gives audiences that “wish I were there” feeling.
This is an ideal opportunity for a college student interested in building their portfolio of digital storytelling, arts marketing, or social media content creation. The selected individual will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend concerts and events to capture behind-the-scenes moments, audience reactions, and on-stage highlights through photos and video.
- Create social-ready content (reels, stories, short clips, quote graphics, etc.) that showcases the full Nashville Symphony experience.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to plan, storyboard, and edit content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Highlight diverse aspects of the organization, including musician features, educational initiatives, and community engagement programs.
- Maintain organized folders of raw and edited media content for future use.
- Monitor social media trends and propose new content ideas that align with the Symphony’s brand and audience interests.
