  • Good overall knowledge of tools
  • Familiarity with data entry, filing and record keeping
  • Strong knowledge with Windows-based computer operating systems and software
  • A positive attitude with good customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow special instructions
  • The ability to work independently and stay focused to complete assigned work
  • Kitting experience
  • A willingness and personality suited to work in a team-oriented environment

 A typical day may look like this: 

  • Check emails for any item requests or hot items that need to be issued or stock transferred (AutoCrib training will be given by Supervisor)
  • Print and count all items that are on the Daily Cycle Count sheets
  • Help any and all mechanics that come to the window or phone calls
  • Emails are to be checked at least every 30 minutes
  • Issue or stock transfer any items that get sent to your email or by phone throughout the day
  • Receive all items delivered daily
  • Fill any kits that are dropped off that day (if applicable)
  • Fill any POU boxes that are dropped off that day (if applicable)
  • Fill any POU cabinets that are set to be filled on its designated day (if applicable)
  • Stock POU area located near tool crib on a daily basis
  • Check and confirm dates on all equipment including computers and any mobile scanners
  • Take trash out daily
  • Stock shelves and clean as need, this should be checked on a daily basis
