Maintenance/Facility Tech (Commercial Real Estate-Maintenance)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Plano, TX to oversee our Legacy East portfolio. This position will be responsible for completing, performing, and managing all building and property maintenance needs, as well as, taking direction from other entities of the company.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Fill all emergency work order requests.
• Fill all high priority work order requests.
• Perform building inspections.
• Perform property inspections.
• Perform any necessary improvements to all properties.
• Remove and demo any unsightly issues to all properties.
• Collect timelines and work progress from all vendors.
• Respond to any after hour emergency calls.
• Collect move-out information per asset management and leasing.

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Basic HVAC skills and certification strongly desired.
• Basic Electrical skills strongly desired.
• Basic Plumbing skills strongly desired.
• Building maintenance experience.
• Comfortable with Technology.
• Experience working for a property management company.
• Organized, and be able to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing to determine issues.
