Warehouse/Delivery Driver - TX

Job Description:

Neat Companies is searching for a Warehouse/Local Delivery Driver for our Fairfield, TX location.  Come join our team with the goal of supporting our vision for world class customer service, safety, and efficiency!  The successful candidate will assist with the loading & unloading of delivery vehicles, along with warehouse & inventory management duties. The employee will also complete the final mile delivery of farm & ranch related products for residential e-Commerce Direct to Consumer (D2C) and commercial Ship to Store (S2S) locations, along with normal store inventory deliveries using variable modes of equipment and conveyance, then returning to the terminal each evening.  

Duties:

Warehouse

• Ensure inventory in warehouse and on yard is organized and secure.
• Unload inbound inventory deliveries and maintain a First In / First Out supply rotation.
• Maintain equipment and facility in clean and functional condition.
• Operate forklift safely, effectively and in accordance with company policy, while maintaining any required certifications.
• Load and secure farm & ranch products for customer delivery.

Local Delivery

• Receive daily dispatch instructions from facility manager each morning.
• Ensure legal qualifications are met, including Hours of Service, Medical Examiners Certificate, and any applicable licenses.
• Complete delivery to correct location, validating all product is received and proof of delivery obtained.
• Foster positive customer relationships, including delivery location preferences and receiving hours.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School or equivalent education
• Class A CDL required
• Experience in delivery, transportation, forklift operation a plus.
• Must pass a driving test, drug test and obtain Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Maintain appropriate licenses, endorsements, and certifications for the job.
• Must possess sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform the essential job functions, including the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Willing and able to work in an outdoor environment consisting of seasonal heat and cold, along with other outdoor elements.
