The Maintenance Technician supports the safe, clean, and efficient operation of The School’s buildings, grounds, and systems. This position performs routine maintenance and custodial tasks, assists with grounds and athletic field upkeep, and provides logistical support for campus events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, light repairs, and bulb replacement
- Monitor and operate HVAC and fire alarm systems
- Maintain custodial supply inventory and restock as needed
- Perform custodial duties to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Respond promptly to safety and facility concerns
- Maintain landscaped areas through mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting
- Service irrigation systems and clear outdoor drains and walkways
- Prepare athletic fields for events including setup, marking, and upkeep
- Set up and break down furniture and equipment for campus events
- Support operational needs such as concessions and special activities
- Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and school vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of campus operations
