Minimum Qualifications:
- All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school's mission, values, and philosophy, especially related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and three years of related safety/security experience, or a combination of skills and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Must pass a Washington State Patrol background check
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and remain alert at all times
- Must have knowledge and ability to use email systems, such as Microsoft Outlook
- Must possess a valid Washington State Driver License and a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior security experience in an educational setting
- Associate degree in criminal justice or related field
- Current certification in CPR and Basic First Aid
Compensation:
Salary is highly competitive with top independent schools in the region and commensurate with education and experience. This is an hourly position with a pay range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
