EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- B.A. degree with emphasis in education and/or arts-related discipline preferred.
- Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience developing and teaching arts curricula
- Experience promoting and presenting artwork to the public
- Experience managing studio space
- Demonstrable background and current experience in the visual, expressive, and/or media arts.
- Valid California driver’s license, safe driving record, and proof of insurability required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word required; proficiency in graphics design programs and/or web design programs preferred
- Knowledge and commitment to the principle of inclusion and self-determination.
- Ability to teach skills and concepts to people
- Ability to maintain positive, cohesive working relationships; good organizational skills and ability to maintain clear, concise records
- Knowledge of art techniques and methods
Repetitive keyboard use, phone use, walking, standing, bending stooping and direct client interaction. Ability to lift wheelchairs and walkers into cars. Ability to assist clients with transferring in and out of cars from wheelchairs.

This position is primarily located at 1633 Old Bayshore Highway, Burlingame, CA 94010. Will require traveling to offsite locations as needed
