
The Controller is responsible for creating new models that support business decisions by utilizing financial reports to establish initiatives and strategies to optimize cost and will manage the general accounting area of Hummel Group.

- Oversees Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Analyzes and evaluates the current business processes and identifies areas of improvement.
- Stays up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate systems.
- Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and develops useful reports.
- Coordinates and prepares financial statements.
- Develops and manages the budget process.
- Creates reports and visualizations to understand business performance.
- Evaluates accounting processes and internal control systems. Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversees regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
- Develops trusted relationships with department teams, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze and prioritize requests.
- Recruits and hires accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations.
- Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.
