PART-TIME CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN OR TECH TRAINEE

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:

Assist the Pharmacist with dispensing medication and the technical and clerical aspects of Pharmacy services. This individual will be expected to transition to a Certified Pharmacy Technician within 6 months of hire, meeting all Arizona State Board of Pharmacy requirements to do so.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a similar setting
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Certified Pharmacy Techician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee State License
