Pay Scale: Starting 52k(Provisional)-57k(Fully Licensed)
Summary:
This position is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Tailored Care Management (TCM) Engagement Specialist Team. The TCM Engagement Specialist Team is responsible for initial outreach and engagement of members assigned to agency to receive TCM services. Engagement Specialist Team also assists with re-engagement of TCM clients across the agency to ensure program compliance and success. This position reports directly to the Senior Program Director of Preventative Care. This position is responsible for all care management operations and compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Offers on-going mentoring, coaching and training to TCM Engagement Specialist team staff. Assures adequate staffing at all times to meet service demand and that staff meet all training requirements.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures strict compliance with all professional standards, IPRS/NC State, Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures. Maintains care and compliance with all rules for the facility. Ensures the provider requirements for care management and preventative care services are followed.
- Provides clinical direction and supervision to all members of the TCM Engagement Specialist Team. Provides or arranges for in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, including best practices training to staff, also participates in agency-wide training programs/in-services.
- Assures all paperwork, billing tickets and documentation is completed in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Works with Senior Program Director of Preventative Care to ensure that all regulatory standards are followed.
- Participates in the selection and hiring of Engagement Specialist staff and other personnel actions as needed.
- Serve as the liaison between the Senior Program Director of Preventative Care, other TCM teams, other agency departments, and the Engagement Specialist team.

Special Attributes: Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Must possess strong clinical skills, a vast knowledge base of mental health and substance abuse disorders and vigor to continue the learning process. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:Â Provide supervision to up to 8 clinical care managers and 2 extenders.

Education and/or Experience: Master’s level fully or provisionally licensed LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT or RN. Three years’ experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to the population served.  Â
