Pay Scale: Paraprofessional: $15-$17/hr. AP:$17-$20/hr. QP: $21.63-$23.07/hr.
Salary will depend on level of education and experience.

Summary:

Under indirect supervision, provides, oversees, and/or administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making.  May be asked to lead, or train lower level counselors, students and/or interns engaged in therapeutic patient care activities, as appropriate to the individual position.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
  • Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
  • Participates in peer review process for therapists
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other Human Services field or have equivalent experience with certification; Qualified Professional (QP) designation preferred.
